The Hazmax™ CBRN S5 safety boot has been specifically developed for CBRN operations, offering the same comfort and chemical resistance as our popular Hazmax™ chemical safety boots, but with enhanced protection against chemical warfare agents.

Features:

• Manufactured from our Respirex-specific Hazmax CBRN compound, offering significantly better chemical resistance than PVC or PU materials
• Chemical resistant boot, certified to EN 13832-3:2018 (Footwear protecting against chemicals)
• Meets the requirements of EN 943-1 (Protective clothing against chemicals) and is certified as a component of the corresponding Respirex total encapsulating suits
• Resistant to chemical warfare agents and decontamination solutions (see above for test data)
• Integrated 200 Joule epoxy-coated steel toe cap and puncture-resistant stainless steel midsole
  
• Also available with composite toe cap and midsole (sizes 8-13 UK / 42-47 EU only)
  
• Vulcanized rubber sole for enhanced slip resistance – 30% more effective than conventional safety boot soles
  
• Durable, cut-resistant vulcanized rubber sole extends service life even on difficult terrain
  
• With reinforced tread for maximum grip in wet and oily conditions (SR)
  
• Heat-resistant sole to EN 20345:2022 HRO, 60 seconds at 300°C
  
• Cold insulation according to EN ISO 20345:2022 CI
  
• Upper and sole resistant to fuel and oil
  
• Antistatic - Electrical resistance meets the requirements of EN ISO 20345:2022 A (0.1MΩ to 1,000MΩ)
