The DETEHIT® detector strip was developed for the detection of nerve agents in the air, water, food, and on surfaces. The detector strip can determine whether dangerous concentrations of nerve agents are present in the air (within 2-3 minutes), whether it is possible to remove the gas mask (5-15 minutes), or whether food or water can be consumed (15-30 minutes).

The main advantage of the DETEHIT is its sensitivity and the ability to test drinking water.
