The CALID-3 detector paper was developed for the simple, reliable, and rapid detection of chemical warfare agents. It distinguishes between the three main groups of chemical warfare agents: G, V, and H. Detection only works for the liquid form (microdroplets) of chemical warfare agents. The microdroplets immediately create a colored spot on the paper. Depending on the color, it is possible to identify groups of G, V, and H substances in less than 30 seconds.
CALID-3 is used in more than 50 countries. It is the only tracing paper that can meet both current NATO and former Warsaw Pact requirements.
Easy to use
Typically, the CALID-3 tracing paper is applied to the user's shoulder or to the windshield of a vehicle (the colored dots are clearly visible through the paper from inside the vehicle).
