Product Information

The Respirex RJS powered air purifying respirator suit is a one-piece, liquid-tight chemical protective suit designed for medical personnel and emergency responders. The in-hospital version includes interchangeable medical gloves and integrated overboots for use with shoes worn inside the suit. For emergency services, there is a version with gaiters that allows the suit to be worn with safety boots.
A special safety feature: An emergency breathing device with a P3 filter is attached to the shoulder, serving as a fail-safe in case of blower failure.
The protective suit is made from Chemprotex™ 300, a high-performance, five-layer chemical barrier laminate that is lightweight and features a spun-bonded non-woven lining for increased wearing comfort.
It is used in conjunction with the Malina CleanAir blower unit with the QuickLOCK hose connection.
