BIO-BOX ICU

The BIO-BOX ICU is a mobile negative pressure isolation system for short or long-term care of highly infectious patients. The negative pressure generated by a high-performance filter ventilation unit prevents the spread of infectious germs.

The device consists of three interconnected modules and includes a decontamination airlock. The inflatable tube construction allows for rapid setup within minutes.

The BIO-BOX offers an optimal solution for the immediate, modular expansion of isolation treatment capacities.

The BIO-BOX is available in two versions: in addition to the inflatable version, there is a stationary, maintenance-free version as a tube construction. The stationary BIO-BOX can be adapted to existing premises if required. This brings enormous cost savings for hospital operators compared to common isolation rooms.

As a BSL-4 version, the BIO-BOX was clinically evaluated at the "Na Bulovce" university hospital in Prague and certified as a Class I medical device.
