The Lifeline & AUTO AED uses two self-adhesive analysis/defibrillation electrodes to analyze the ECG and, if necessary, deliver defibrillation energy to a patient. The electrodes are integrated and connected (pre-installed) within the AED. The AED automatically checks for the presence of the electrodes. They can be replaced separately, are single-use, and have a lifespan of two years.
